kehotus is Anu Laiho's current research project and collaboration with dancers Tuija Lappalainen, Venla Niitemaa and Magdalene Solli. The research happens in Finland and Norway during Spring 2022.

In this four-week research, Laiho moves her focus to the spatiality of the body and attempts to create material through a practice of improvisation and flow writing. This practice, TASK-WRITE-REVISE, was created as a tool in Laiho's most recent artistic work and Master's Project R E  S   P    A     C      E. The aim now is to expand and mold this method into a more permanent part of her artistic practice and also test its possibilities a collaborative tool. The project is joined in separate weeks by three different dancers in three different spaces, to approach the topic of the spatiality of the body and the TASK-WRITE-REVISE method from various angles.
